Despite what I like to imagine is an adequate deftness at wordcrafting, I have yet to learn the proper technique of writing a dedication in a birthday card. Thirty drafts, sixty minutes, and five cramped fingers later, I have yet to come up with the right combination of sappy sentiment and lighthearted humor sufficient to get my well wishes across.
Perhaps I am taking this too seriously . . .
